2,500m Fibreglass-strings, Blackened Pressboard, DMX Control System A light sculpture for POP fashion store, Munich.

220 strings of light, each one of them regulated by a light controller, form a light volume set together by strings of more than 2,500 meters. The installation became the eye-catcher of the store, reflecting the pulse of the music and the movement. 

The centerpiece of the store is part of an overall design created by Michael Pendry in cooperation with Expolab. It is a walkable art piece not a simple store design, and was honored with the prestigious Red Dot Design Award.
